Hunter male reader x rwby part 3 rewrite

I stood in front of the four females with eclipse behind me keeping a close feeler on them,I stood there with my weapon in hand getting ready for anything.

"we don't want to hurt you just put the weapon down." The small red haired female said

"Ruby it just knocked out our teacher." Her white haired friend corrected as the dragon and man looked at them.

I growled at her and threw a throwing knife at her before quickly hopping on Eclipse and had her throw dust at them with her wings once the dust cleared we were out of their sights. I'm not trusting anyone here, as we flew I noticed heard a weird roaring sound. Turning my head I saw some sort of flying balloon as it raced towards us. Patting Eclipse's neck she growled before she suddenly used her wings to stop making the machine rush at us.

"Head tucked in back flip." I instructed as she did just that before I tapped her neck again allowing her to spread her wings. "Shadow camo." I told her as she erupted with her mist as the sky turned dark. Using her feelers she flew around the ship as the mist began to mess up their sensors. Turning the saddle to the right Eclipse flew off as we began to come up to a beach. I looked behind up fo make sure we weren't being followed and I didn't see anyone.

"Okay girl let's rest over by the shore line." I told her as she growled in agreement, getting off of her, I began to pet her as giving her a job well done to which she cuddled up to me. I smiled as she cuddled me but stood up once the petting was done. "Come on. Let's find a place to rest and get some food." At the mention of food she got behind me and nudge me with her head making me laugh as she was hurrying me to catch something. The two of us walked over to a cave with a small stream in the middle of it. Since I'm constantly covered in the mist she always knew where I was growing up together I wanted to have her feel what it means to have a caring parent since once the dragons learn to fend for themselves and fly she has no one. I might spoil her a lot but I see her as my own daughter even if we're only a few years apart. Sitting against a wall I yawned as she laid down next to me with her head on my lap. I plan on catching something but for now I think she needs her rest. Since the fall she never had a chance to fully recover from our battle and I don't want to push her too hard. It is quite weird that this place doesnt have any Felyne. I chuckled as I knew my world was quite different from this one. Taking out a small rod piece I flipped it to extend it out as the line and lure appeared before I tossed it into the stream. I began to hear giant snoring as I looked down at Eclipse to see her asleep. I smiled as I took my helmet off and kissed her head before setting my headpiece next to me on the ground. Hunting tons of Gore Magalas I know the certain phase they go through for their evolution. I sincerely hope when it happens she doesn't get stuck in the half way point. I don't think I can see her go through that much pain. When it happens I need to make sure she doesn't get spooked during it. After about an hour I caught four fish. I got enough for myself but I think for Ecplise she needs to catch her own.

Shaking her head I saw as Eclpise began to move. She raised her head up as I smiled at her.

"Okay girl. Let's do some hunting." I smiled making her nod before she walked towards the exit of the cave behind me. Jumping on her saddle we took to the sky. Scanning the water I saw a shift in the sea as a shark swam towards a school. "You down for shark today girl?" I asked as she dived down for a responce with her claws were out forwards before I timed it and told her when to close her claws. Getting the beast I smiled as Eclipse got her food. Going back to the cave she slammed it onto the ground killing it before I hopped off before the two of us went into the cave with her carrying the shark in her mouth. Grabbing my weapon I looked at Eclipse.

"Stay here girl. I'm gonna go get some firewood." Seeing her nod she continued to eat the fish as I left. After using my weapon like a normal axe I got enough firewood for me to cook my food. After eating I rest against Eclipse as she laid down. "Let's get some rest girl." I yawned as she nod. Laying against her she covered me with her wing before the two of us slipped into slumber.
